long form video
Long form video is a medium I enjoy dabbling in from time to time. Dreaming up the composition of a horizontal shot, rather than the vertical instagram videos I’m so familiar with, stretches a different creative muscle for me. These two featured videos, are the first in a hopefully longer collection of long form content I’d like to create.
In, A Holiday Soiree, I document the ideation and process of hosting a holiday party in my studio apartment. Since creating these video, I have come to love the even planning process and made the party an annual occasion!
Filmed over the course of a few months, Etsy Sourcing shows a small taste into how I go about sourcing unique vintage items online. I go over things like keywords to use, commentary on pricing and also give the view a glimpse into my favorite vintage finds thus far.

Planning, filming and editing video reels for @katedewittdesign has become one of my most beloved creative outlets. My favorite videos feature planning festive dinner parties for my friends and family, explaining how I tackled a specific craft tutorial, vlogs showcasing a DIY home project or day in my life as a creative entrepreneur. I’ve experimented with instagram trends and algorithm hacks, but have come to learn the most joy is found in the process, rather than the results.

I dreamed up Her Vision as a conversational platform for creative visionary women to share stories, perspectives, advice, and lessons learned. In each episode, I host a new guest as we recount their childhood aspirations, career trajectory, and dreams yet to be fulfilled. From interior designers and photographers to fine artists and digital creators, every episode features a unique visionary story full of advice and inspiration.
As podcast creator and host, I believe that listening to different stories is essential in molding our own life visions and carving out a unique path to get there.
