holiday pattern boxes
Designed, crafted and sold in December 2023, this curated pattern box collection was 100% handmade by designer and dear friend, Karina Lameraner and me. Each box contained a handmade assortment of Italian paper-wrapped frames, large matchboxes, and 10 hand-lined envelopes with illustrated stationery. Combining our two creative disciplines, we put our heads together for this small batch project with the intention of accenting our consumers homes year round.
Marketed solely on Instagram and sold on KateDeWittDesign.com, our 10 piece collection sold out in 48 hours and was an absolute job to create!

the every girl home tour
“Kate DeWitt knows a thing or two about how to make a small space sing. As the twenty-something founder of her own interior design firm, she’s managed to turn her 400-square-foot studio apartment into a charming oasis filled with meaningful art and furniture, eye-catching textiles, and beautiful vintage accessories. “Interior design has always been my north star,” said Kate, whose passion for planning and decorating spaces started when she was a child.
Read on for a full home tour of Kate’s light-filled space. The San Francisco designer spills all the details about the special heirloom items in her apartment, home decor retailers she frequents, and the paper- and fabric-wrapped picture frames she can’t stop making.”

collecting for a lifetime
Growing up, I loved watching my mom prep for luncheons and dinner parties. She would get out all of our big beautiful bowls and platters and create an enchanting environment. Those platters from my childhood still grace our family gatherings till this day. So when I moved into my apartment a few years ago, I was so excited to start my very own dinnerware and serving collection. It’s important to me to collect for the long term and invest in pieces that will be a part of my gatherings for years to come.
When YEAR & DAY debuted their new Dune color way a few weeks ago, I was so excited to get my hands on it. I know these simplistic and classic pieces will be in my collection for years to come.
